It’s one of the main reasons why we’ve formed a partnership with WE Care and Repair. This is a great local organisation that works to ensure vulnerable homeowners and tenants can lead their lives in comfort and independence.
Care and Repair ensures that those on lower incomes can access council subsidised home improvements and get the repairs and other services that they need. At DHS we’re only too happy to help.
We can provide services such as installing new central heating systems, putting in and repairing boilers, as well as helping you create more accessible bathrooms including walk-in showers.
What is WE Care and Repair?
They are a charitable organisation that operates in the West of England helping people to keep their homes properly maintained and providing support to install accessible living equipment. It’s not just boiler repairs that might be needed in the Bristol area, of course. The organisation works with a wide range of different companies and individuals. They primarily focus on providing services for those over the age of 60, disabled homeowners and tenants who are any age and those with mental health issues.
The key for WE Care and Repair is to provide the support that people need to live with the right degree of independence. Their services can include just getting in a traditional handyman to do some minor repairs or contracting a boiler company to do something a little bigger such as installing a new combi-boiler.
Where are they based?
The organisation covers a wide area including Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Bristol, and Gloucestershire and offer several other support services. They also run home independence centres in Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare where you can check out displays, equipment and the gadgets that are used for easy living adaptations. You can get plenty of help and advice by either calling them or dropping in to one of their centres.
