The condensate pipe is the pipe that deals with waste and is found outside the property. As it’s exposed to the elements, it’s not unusual for the condensate pipe to freeze in the colder months, which can have an adverse effect on how your central heating works. It can be an idea to cover the pipe with cloth or similar material to try and keep it hidden from the harsh elements.
Ensure your boiler is serviced
Now you’ve made all your other checks, it’s time to check the most important aspect; the boiler itself. It’s worth noting that not all faults are straightforward, and a boiler can run for some time before breaking down. However, if you have your boiler serviced regularly, then you could stop any potential fault before it even occurs.
