A few considerations before you purchase:

Contact your local authority to ascertain whether your home is in a ‘Smokeless zone’. This will ensure that you get advice on the options available for you to burn wood and solid fuel.

Certain wood and solid fuel burning appliances are exempt from the Clean Air Act 1993 and can be used in a Smokeless zone. Please ask if you are unsure if your chosen stove is DEFRA approved for use in a smokelss zone.
