What is a System Boiler?
Like a regular system, this used stored hot water. As the water is pumped from the boiler and straight into the hot-water tank and radiators, it is a more economical system. Also, many of the components of the system are built-in making it easier, quicker and more affordable to install.
Oil fired boilers
Whilst natural gas continues to be the preference for the majority of homes in the UK it is still possible to have a high efficiency oil fired boilers with all the same advantages as a gas fired system. In a similar way to gas boilers recent changes in building regulations (April 2007) have required oil fired boilers to meet exacting standards in efficiency.
Are there oil fired combi boilers?
The majority of oil fired boilers are installed where gas is not available and whilst they are now very efficient burning a form of kerosene they are not quite as flexible as gas fired boilers.
