DHS has teamed up with leading manufacturer Worcester- Bosch to supply install and service their market leader Worcester Greenskies solar panels. The panels use the sun’s energy, both direct and diffused sunlight, to convert the energy into heat and produce hot water for the home.
The solar panels have been designed to complement existing heating systems which use a store of hot water in a cylinder and they are a perfect partner to Worcester’s Greenstar regular and system boilers.
A typical well-sized solar panel system should provide around 50-70% of the hot water requirements of a home.
Solar heating can provide the following benefits:
Hot water throughout the year: the system works all year round, though you’ll need to heat the water further with a boiler or immersion heater during the winter months.
- Cut your bills: sunlight is free, so once you’ve paid for the initial installation your hot water costs will be reduced.
- Cut your carbon footprint: solar hot water is a green, renewable heating system and doesn’t release any harmful carbon dioxide or other pollutants
- DHS is also one of the few companies in the South West that can provide a full advisory service for more complex solutions, including multi-fuel systems.
